Meet Aaron

Growing Up and Education
Aaron was born and raised in the central valley of California. He grew up working class and was raised by his father, a fire fighter, and his mother, a respiratory therapist. When he was 11 years old Aaron and his family moved to Gardnerville, NV. He has been proud to call Nevada his home ever since.
Aaron graduated Douglas High School in 2010. He continued his education at Western Nevada College with a focus on economics. His future education plans include a degree in public administration.

Political Drive
Aaron’s passion for public service and politics began at a young age. While attending city council meetings with his father, he grew an early appreciation for public service. Since 2004 Aaron has volunteered for every level in each election. At the age of 14, he was an intern assistant for the governor of Nevada and a year later, became founding president of a political youth organization. At the age of 16, Aaron managed his first campaign for a candidate running for Douglas County Commissioner.
Aaron has experience working on both sides of the aisle. He prided himself in being one of the few progressive minded Republicans, but at age 24 chose to leave the Republican Party. As a democrat, Aaron has already continued his political passion as Precinct Captain for Carson City Dems, Caucus Chair for Dems, and ran for Mayor of Carson City in 2020.
Aaron has long been an advocate of good government and served as a lobbyist for the Nevada Legislative Affairs Council. His campaign for State Senate has been advocating for pragmatic progressive policies for our great state.

Helping Others
Aaron focuses his work on helping those in need the most. He served in various organizations helping with the houseless and assisting in feeding people. He served as Family Services Director for the Salvation Army and has been an avid volunteer for the Our Center of Reno. Aaron has worked with the Food Closet of Northern Nevada and Food Not Bombs, which helps get nutrition to those who need it.
Today, Aaron works with a variety of organizations that aim at helping the LGBTQ+ community, homelessness, environmental groups and the Democratic Party.
